Hi guys, I'm wondering what brand of jewelers blade you use for cutting inlays. I usually buy 100 dozen blades at a time ![]() I currently use laser blades from Rio Grande. I tried Pike blades, but they didn't seem to have as much consistancy from blade to blade, ( Uneven kerf, shorter cutting length.) Any suggestions or sources? I need to order in the next week or two. Many thanks, |

I use Rio Grande also. They seem mighty fine to me but then they are the only brand I have used. I like Rio Grande for other things also, like saw handle, twissers, gold, silver. It is a good place! |

By the way, The butterfly theme guitar is great work. I read Hal's story and man oh man. What a great project to be a part of!!! |

I use Grobet brand get them from Lacy and Company here in Toronto. Here's the link if you are interested: http://www.lacytools.ca/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/29_29 1/products_id/14106 Lacy's claim they are better than the Antilope brand that they also carry. |
